        What photo should I send?

        Good light on their face. Eyes in focus. Taken close to their eye level. Daylight by a window works best. If your photo will not work, we email you before we print.

        How many colors should I pick?

        24 is easy and relaxed. 36 is what most people choose, and it shows more fur detail. 48 is for close-up portraits and takes longer.

        Will it look just like my photo?

        It will look like a painting, not a photo. Flat color, visible brushstrokes, simpler detail. That is the look people want. Pick 36 or 48 colors if you want fine markings.

        Can I put two pets on one canvas?

        Yes. Send one photo with both of them in it. Pick a bigger canvas and more colors so neither one loses detail.

        How long does it take?

        Custom kits take a little longer to make because yours is built for you. Delivery dates show at checkout. Most people spend 6 to 12 hours painting, spread over a few evenings.

        What if I mess it up?

        Let it dry and paint right over it. Acrylic covers itself. This is the most common worry and the easiest fix.
