This is a picture of a beautiful mountain. Turned out nicely. But... There are numerous Mount Washingtons in the US, the most famous being the one in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Then one in the Olympic National Park and also one in the Cascades. After doing research I found that none of the Mt. Washington's bears even a slight
resemblance to the photo attached, hence the letters have yet to been painted.
Great to have this painting. I can see Mt Tahoma (Rainier) and have bee to this falls numerous times. This is my 34th Wander painting which says it all.
I just finished the first of my Wander Painting projects. It was the Mighty Mac aka the Mackinac Bridge. It was challenging, yet relaxing and fun. I'm so happy with how it turned out. I personally found the paint easier to apply after adding a few drops of water, or Flotrol from a disposable syringe to thin the paint. I just stirred it in with a toothpick.
I can't wait to start my next piece, as I plan to paint all of the Great Lakes for a collage.
I had a family photo from my childhood turned in to a Wander Painting kit. I was a bit skeptical. How would it work? What would I get? It worked really well. There is a lot of detail (Downside of detail is that there are some really small spaces to paint. Upside is that it produces a better end product.) I haven't quite finished the painting, but I'm uploading what I have so far. It gives a good idea of what the end result will be.
I love doing paint by numbers and love the idea of the travel posters! It was a great way to use my hobby and commemorate trips taken recently. My only complaint is that the Iceland poster I received did not match the picture online. Otherwise everything was in great condition, the paints were great and there was enough of each color. The brushes were good and I liked receiving the different sized brushes.
I ordered 3 paintings as Christmas gifts for family members this year. Everyone was ecstatic to receive their gifts and start painting! My wife recently finished her painting of the Grand Canyon and put it in a frame. It looks great on the shelf of my office!
I ordered this as a Christmas present for my wife and it was an instant hit! She's hooked now and will be ordering more.
I ran across these kits by accident and now I am obsessed! The kits are well put together, highly detailed and easy to follow. The paints provided are great and cover the canvas beautifully. If you get the DIY frame, they are easy to assemble and easy to mount your finished painting. I'm now going to try to visit as many National Parks as I can so I can grab it's kit to complete! They make amazing gifts for those crafty folks in your life too!
Bought this for my wife and she has been loving it! It comes with everything needed! High quality and tons of fun!
Love the National Park Vintage series!! Working on Zion right now, definitely challenging but fun! The brushes included are my only complaint. Grab some better quality ones and off you go!!
I’ve become obsessed with paint by numbers! Wander Painting has beautiful designs that are a delight to paint. I find it to be therapeutic, and at the end I have a lovely painting to proudly hang on the wall. I highly recommend these kits.
I've done a few of these now and I still enjoy them. I'm about half-way through the Joshua Tree one and I can say it's a bit more challenging compared to the other ones. The spaces to paint in are really small and difficult to get a brush of paint in, but the overall painting is still coming out really cool. Lots of details in this particular painting, which is a good thing. Just takes patience.
Below are all four of the paintings that I've completed. I've thoroughly enjoyed doing them. The Channel Islands was my first and probably the most challenging~
It is the vintage Kings Canyon that gave me the troubles~
Had a great time with this painting project. Every color that went on brought me a little closer to seeing Black Canyon of the Gunnison and reminded me of our trip there. Such a special place! Now I can enjoy it all the more.
Having a lot of fun painted Capitol Reef! Lots of details! Very impressed by the quality of the kit. Working on finishing color #8 and already did some of #9!
Absolutely love the final version of the Grand Canyon—who knew nature’s rough draft could get even better with a little artistic magic? The colors are stunning, the details mesmerizing. The paper copy? A must-have. Might need a bright light to see the numbers on the print, but hey, that just adds to the fun! And let’s not forget the delightful communication with the Wander Painting team—truly a joy from start to finish!
The painting is very therapeutic and relaxing. I found that it is easy to follow, which I was worried about, and it's fun, too. This company is great with getting back to you and supplying the necessary help when needed. Highly recommended.
The painting kits are wonderful! I bought a few of the national parks kits for a friend as a winter project. It has turned into a meditative morning ritual for them and they love the art! One of the best gifts I have ever given!
I've enjoyed every second of my Wander Painting experience; from the chatty order confirmation emails to the well-packaged materials to the creamy paints and well-prepared canvas. My only complaint would be that their catalog isn't big enough! I would paint only Wander PBNs if I could find enough projects to fit my needs. I'll keep watching for the selection to expand, as I'm sure it will!
